Mr. Samuel Gignac has been a member of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants as CPA CA since 2013 and a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals since 2016 as CIRP. He has held a Licensed Insolvency Trustee licence since 2016.

Graduated from Laval University in 2010, Samuel Gignac has acquired experience in commercial insolvency both in the context of liquidation mandates as in the context of financial restructuring mandates, in personal insolvency, in various special mandates related to insolvency and in co-management and third-party management of struggling indigenous communities.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Quebec Authorized Insolvency Trustees Council since May 2018 and has served as President since July 2020.

In his spare time, Samuel enjoys cross-country skiing, cycling and golf. Always ready to lend a hand, he is also recognized by those close to him for his talents on the grill and his love of the finer things in life. His outspokenness, his analytical skills and his dynamism are qualities that set him apart.
